Chris - Visual Barista
Chris is our lead technician and she will guide you through the preliminary testing procedure smoothly. Her job duties include gathering your medical history and discovering exactly what visual challenges you face. During the pre-testing process, Chris will perform a thorough evaluation of your vision utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Chris has received extensive training in evaluation and measuring critical eye components. Her favorite things to do out of the office are gardening and throwing the best Halloween parties that Mandarin has to offer.
Diana - Disappearing Spectacle Artist
She is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and our Lead Contact Lens Specialist. Her skill set and personality creates a pleasant atmosphere to learn the necessary aspects of contact lens wear. She lectures nationally on contact lens fitting techniques and training. Diana has been a part of the Pullen Eye Care family for almost 15 years and if you’re lucky, you can occasionally see her at local equestrian shows.
Kaitlin - Certified Para-Optometric Technician
Kaitlin is a Certified Para-Optometric Assistant. She will guide you through the preliminary testing and answer any questions that you may have along with discovering the needs of each individual patient. During the pre-testing process, Kaitlin will perform a thorough evaluation of your vision while providing a friendly and pleasant experience. With a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida, she’s a proud Gator here in Jacksonville and enjoys playing the piano and guitar.
Lynn - Eyewear concierge
New lens technology is constantly evolving and keeping abreast of the technology is an integral part of Lynn’s passion. She has more than 20 years of experience in advanced optics and strives to exceed patient expectations. Her honest evaluation will provide you with a truly customized experience. In her past life, Lynn was a sous chef so she enjoys creating new meals and spending time in the outdoors with her family.
Linda - Eyewear Expert
Linda is an eyewear expert at Pullen Eye Care and has more than 20 years of experience in advanced optics and always exceeds patient expectations. Her calm demeanor and sense of style will provide you with a wonderful experience and exceptional eyewear. Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with her family. You may even find her on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle during Bike Week!
Sheryl - Eyewear Expert
Sheryl has been working in the optical business for almost 30 years. During this time, she has worked in the lab making lenses, as a technician in pre-testing, and has experience training new patients in contact lenses. Although she specializes as an eyewear expert, she is multi-talented and is a vital team player in assisting with the flow of the office. In her spare time, she enjoys playing billiards and spending time with her family.
Sondra - Insurance Benefits
Insurance has a language all its own, and Sondra speaks insurance fluently. With almost 5 years’ experience in insurance and optical billing/coding, she will be happy to translate any questions you may have about coverage or out-of-pocket costs. This ensures transparent billing and no surprises at check-out. Sondra is a vital part of the Pullen Eye Care team and when she’s not in the office, she loves traveling and spending time with her family.
Jennifer - Patient Coordinator
A Hawaiian native, Jennifer will help make you feel a part of the Pullen Eye Care Ohana (Meaning “family”). Jennifer’s friendly smile and cheerful voice will assist you in ordering contact lenses and throughout the check-out process. Additionally, she has optical training and has had several years of experience in medical offices from all over the world. You will always see her smiling and you will be sure that Jennifer will have you laughing on your way out the door. Be sure to say, “Aloha!”
Lisa - Patient Happiness Guarantor
Lisa oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations. In her 26 years with the office and 32 years overall, she knows the inner workings and is continually improving the office experience. She handles all things financial and consistently works on the balance of office and business to make your experience remarkable. When she isn’t working on projects and reports, you will find her on the tennis court. She is an avid tennis player and will play any time the weather cooperates.
